In the beginning Dr. Jones seemed very intimidating. As the semester progresses she starts to let her guard down and shares all her crazy stories/accents. She REALLY knows her stuff. Course is lecture heavy, lots of content to remember. She's huge on attending class. Try your absolute hardest and don't be discouraged. Tough as* class but possible!

OK. So, I know Ms. Jones gets a lot of upset students who didn't pass but to be fair she really is a great teacher who puts a lot of heart into her classes. The class IS extremely difficult so you need maximum study time. I took the class twice to pass and I can honestly say she does care and want her students to pass but you have to work for it.

Solid professor. She knows her stuff and her lectures are effective. We were provided study guides online to prepare for exams. Her exams aren't too bad if you use the study guides to pinpoint your readings in the book. She assigned barely any homework. Reading the textbook to study for exams is hands down the key to a good grade in her class.

You will get a good grades if you study all the study guides she gives you. You are only graded by the 4 tests and final. She knows her material well , but do not copy the notes exactly the way she does it, you must be your own good organized note taker. Personally, I like her lectures she's entertaining and is inspirational just work for it!

I took Bio 100 and honestly I could have done better. She teaches good but you need to study on your own. The lectures are summaries. First exam I failed!! But the second exam I got a B. So it depends on your studying skills. I would take her again but the class is a lot of studying. I studied at Panera a lot!! She has a lot of jokes.

Initially I wasn't sure I would like her, but once you get used to her dry sense of humor and sarcasm, she really grows on you! She try's really hard to explain things in ways her students can understand, and really wants everyone to succeed. Her lecture style is quite unstructured but she posts PowerPoint online. I think she's awesome!

I could see why people that need structured notes do not like her style. She tries to not keep a set, strict lecture being that she likes to keep things fresh. try not to miss class, follow the study guides and reviews. she makes herself very much available for questions. if you fail this class is because you didn't really care at all.

I loved this teacher. Some people have a hard time with her teaching methods, but what I appreciate about her is her passion for knowledge and spreading that knowledge. She goes off on tangents and shows videos for things that probably aren't required by the course criteria, but is still important and useful information. I enjoyed her class.

LACKS STRUCTURE BIG TIME. HARD TO FOLLOW, ONLY DOES TEST, HARDLY ANY EXTRA CREDIT, AND HARDLY ANY HOMEWORK. NOT THE BEST TEACHER THERE, LOOK FOR SOMEONE ELSE WHO WILL HELP YOU LEARN.

Teacher is great. She's engaging and funny. She can be strict at times, but at the same time provides extra credit occasionally. Assigns homework and provides study guides for tests. This class requires work to get a good grade, but you'll feel like you earned it. It's recommended not to miss many classes, because some things she teaches only then.

Her lecture style lacks structure which drove me crazy all semester but she knows her stuff. As long as you pay attention, take notes & do her study guides, you should be able to at least get a B. Luckily she posted PPTs on BB but her past physio classes haven't been so lucky. 4 exams & a final but can skip the final if you have an A pre-final.

If you want to learn the material, take the class with this professor. Read the material before the lecture, and they will make sense. Take notes because she will include lecture on her tests, which are your grade. She's energetic, passionate, and expects more of you than you do. If you are advancing to higher bios, take her for 100.

Unorganized, lacks structure and clarity. Her notes are a mess, and the final was mostly on a short YouTube video and statistics that did not even relate to biology. She is nice to talk to outside of class, but she is a horrible teacher. If you take her class, bring a voice recorder because you will need it with this woman. I do NOT recommend her.

Tests are more about the book in the beginning and more about the lecture near the end. It starts hard and, well, stay challenging and you cover a lot of material. The class is tough but if you really want to learn the material I highly recommend it. She is entertaining. She gives a little extra credit at the end. I got an A

one thing is undisputable- she knows what she is talking about. She is passionate about what she does. however her teaching method really doesn't work for me! lectures lack structure/clarity... The study guides cover most of the material on the exam but there is a lack of structured conceptual teaching..goes very fast. 4.0 student .. First B :(
