Comment:

Dr T is brilliant. She is helpful if you take the time to get to know her. She makes you think about Physiology in a different way and will not just have you memorize the material. You actually learn so that you can solve more complicated real-world problems for yourself, ones that don't just have an answer you regurgitate. I loved it!

Had her for Anatomy... she's very intelligent and that makes it difficult for her to explain the subject clearly and simply. She hardly teaches, just tells you what to learn. She's funny and does seem to care a little about her students. Study hard on your own if you want to pass. It's not impossible, just a lot of memorizing.

awful teacher. she isnt helpful couldnt care if you passed the class, the only reason why she is still teaching at UAFS is case shes been there for years! she is very blunt and rude about wheather she cares about her student. you miss class good you fall behind quick. her exams are all over the place and her study quides are long.

I loved Dr. T. She's was also my advisor for Biology. She is a very hard professor, but a great one! You earn you grade! She is very intelligent and expects you to learn the processes! I am glad I had her as my teacher. This is college, it is not going to be easy. It is also a pre-rec for any medical field and you shouldn't be looking for the easiest teacher. I wouldn't want to be worked on by someone who took a easy teacher because they didn't want a real education! I absolutely enjoyed her!!!!

Dr t. is soo funny. She tries to make the class as entertaining as possible. The class is hard not because of her but the material you have to cover. She tries to make it easy to understand and tries to be helpful to you. She is a great teacher and tries to give opportunities for bonus. She is great. highly recommend.

Comment:

Tichenor was the best professor I had this semester. No, she isn't easy - but she is more than fair. She makes the course material about as exciting as anyone could hope for, and her classroom antics (dancing) keep you awake and interested. She is always available to answer questions via email or office hours. Highly recommend!

she is terrible. makes you feel dumb if you ask a question. thinks everyone already knows like 89 percent of what shes teaching. can't clarify well. makes her test impossible. i've always been a great student, i have a b in her class because of bonus. but only made C's on tests. she wants to be "the center of your universe" good luck

I believe Dr. T is a very good instructor. She keeps A and P 1 on a very basic and easily understandable level. Her class is very enjoyable and she keeps your interest if you are in the least bit interested in A and P. I appreciate the effort that she makes to be available for all of her students and in her enthusiasm for her love of A and P!

Dr. T is a very silly woman, so she's a lot of fun. Her class is hard, especially the lectures (labs, not so much if you know what you're doing), and she only tests over what's covered in class, so you HAVE to be there. Studying is an absolute must for this class. Takes up a lot of time. She knows her stuff, though, and is a great teacher.

Very hard class in my opinion! Took all that was in me to get a "C" in the course. Make sure to study, study, study for the tests! You can definitely say Mrs. Tichenor knows her stuff though!
