Comment:

I've had Lisa for two upper-division German classes along with a collegiate course abroad. Her assignments are not explained clearly, and yet, she expects you to know what she wants and to articulate it back to her. If you don't agree with her opinion, you will not do well. She is closed-minded and can't put herself in the student's shoes.

I was in the class to further my German...she is very boring and I count the min till class is over each day. She has no sense of relation with the younger students and her clas is absolutly horrible. You can work you ass of in her class and there is no possible way you will ever get and "A". Honestly i would never recomend her to anyone ever ever!

I didn't want to take this class, but had to to fulfill the language requirement (like most students in the class). However Ohm makes class nearly unbearable. She has no sense of fun and class drags on and on. I did learn quite a bit in class but unless you plan on furthering your German studies I would NOT recommend.

Dr. Ohm is super nice, but class is really boring. REALLY boring. Tests are pretty straightforward. Homework is easy. I recommend it if you want a fairly simple class, but if you want a class that is even remotely interesting, this is not it.

She is a good person at heart... her assignments are difficult to do because of her lack of explanation. She's easy to understand but hard to pay attention too... every passing minute is like an hour

oh my god. i'm not gonna toot my own horn but i'm pretty fluent in german, i have alot of experience in it. I got nothing out of her class in fact i think i'm stupider for having taken her classes. She so remedial i wanted to die!

Frau Ohm is an excellent teacher. She takes very sincere and personal interest in both her subject and her students. Her teaching does cater to students who are truely interested in learning, so if you're not, find a different prof but don't expect to learn nearly as much.

Dr. Ohm is an excellent speaker of German and she speaks it clearly to help you understand word differentiation; however, the assignments are extremely unclear. She pounds in the same themes no matter the class: Muslims in Germany, the fall of East Germany, and immigrants in all nations.

I spent a semester and a half in her class. I did my homework, read the material, and I still had a horrible time learning with her. Her methods are so bland and redundant. I always felt like I was trapped in her class. It's not the way to be taught.
