Comment:

Honestly, if you can take Simulation at another college and transfer it as credit, do that. This man has no idea how to teach and I speak for my entire class when I say that we had to teach ourselves EVERYTHING. There is an unnecessary amount of work in this class, not to mention it is one of the most useless classes in IE that I have ever taken.

He REALLY cares about their students. He will not say it, but he shows that we care a lot. He is very passionate about what he does and he is always available online and in his office. He is one of the best professors in the department. His lectures are interesting but get ready to work hard and learn a lot!

Comment:

Dr. Rossetti is probably one of the best professors I ever had. Before taking his class, I had terrible references about him. He might put you in the spot, but if you literally are asking an stupid question that really show how much you care about his class. Do your work, ask questions, and go to office hours and you will love his classes.

The class itself is not difficult but as we all know the professor makes a huge difference. Rossetti does not provide great detail and it is very insulting/embarrassing when you go in to ask a question. He always listens to your question then drops his head in disgust as if saying "sigh* another inferior student with a stupid question"

Apparently he has read his previous criticisms and taken them to heart. I found him to be very patient and clear, completely avoiding using powerpoint. Not a hint or sign of arrogance. He puts in extra effort and feels responsibility to teach the material. But, yes the tests are a little long, with very little time to ponder.

Mario! He is one of the worst teachers. I could read the notes he has posted and teach better than him. Test are hard and super long. He makes you feel dumb and expects you to know everything about statistics before you enter the class. Take this with Dr. Cassidy and you will get an A or B easy.

I don't think you can take this class with anyone else, but if you can; take it then. Expect arrogant and condescending remarks during class. You may not be as smart as him, but that won't stop him from reminding you that he knows it. Did i mention that you can't get better than a 95% on homework? I've had worse professors, but not in the IE dept.
