Comment:

Quite a reasonably easy grader and kind lady. Kind of like a nice old grandma. I had her for Symposium I and II in Fall 2006/Spring 2007. The only gripe I had was that she deducted my grade because I came in late almost every day, which in my opinion should not be the discretion of the teacher, especially when you are paying for THEIR instruction.

Mary was a great teacher, she seems to really enjoy teaching and makes class fun. Pretty easy as a transfer symp teacher. The class is not too hard as long as you read and she really just wants everyone to enjoy the class which is pretty easy.

I loved Mary. I'm pretty sure we were the most talkative bunch in existence, but we still got things done. Mary takes much of the stress away from a often stressful first year. Be happy to have Mary as a FYS teacher, one of the best in the bunch.

I love Mary Martini! Sweetest lady, brings in treats, lets class out early on a regular basis, and very lenient if you have a good excuse. She lets the class joke around a lot so the class periods were always fun. I don't wanna say it's an easy A class, but it's not too difficult.
