Carrino is the best teacher at plattsburgh state. if you have a problem with your paper, you make an appointment with him, and he revises your whole paper! He basically corrects everything so you can get an A. He gives you 2-3 weeks to hand in a paper because you write 4 drafts. So easy but you'll fail if you don't attend class.

Had him for my 101 teacher one year ago, and he stopped my on the street recently to chat! I've never had a prof that remembers me so well. He has an amazing sense of humor, and livens up what could easily be a dull class. Lot's of revising, but it's well worth it. Take any class with him if you can!

by far one of my favorite teachers here at plattsburgh. take advantage of his out of class help times! he basically tells you the things you did wrong in your paper. im not the best writer and after going to him for 15, he explained what i did wrong and i always got atleast a B+.keep up on your drafts and go to class and youll do fine!

hes really funny. hes always there to help you out. deff take advantage of his office hours, it helps you out A LOT. papers are always 3-4 pages but their mad easy. gives you a lot of time to work on the essays.

Carrino's class is so easy. All the papers have to be at least 2-3 pages long which isn't bad at all. The class is boring though and I dreaded going to it. As long as you chat him up regularly your grade will boost and laugh at a few jokes of his. The essays are easy and he helps you out with them if you need it.

Mr. Carrino is one of the best professors at PSU. He assigned five papers and was always there to help us with them. We had lots of fun in class and still learned a lot about the writing process. He is a great professor and I HIGHLY recommend that you take english 101 with him.
