Mr. McKinney is my favorite professor I have had. He is so knowledgeable and will answer any questions you have. He cares a lot about how you do in the class and is really funny. I wouldn't skip class because you go over a lot every day and he teaches things that are on the test. His tests are very fair and you can get an A if you work hard

Professor McKinney is absolutely amazing! He is very accessible outside of the classroom, and is always open and understanding with students. Attendance is mandatory, but you still get extra credit if you miss less than 10 lectures. The tests are super organized, which makes it easy to study. Come to class and it an easy A!

McKinney teaches the class socratically so be prepared for lots of questions! The exams get tricky so show up for class. He has questions from past exams on D2l and reviews each chapter. One of the few professors who will go out of his way to ensure you understand the material. You will learn a lot in this class! 10/10 def recommend

Dr. McKinney is really good for ETSU. Too many courses are rote memorization and while there is still some of that, he ensures that the students who engage in discussion walk away with a better grasp of the law, and the logical framework behind it. He is a fair grader, but don't expect many gimme questions. A couple hours/wk studying is required.

Mr. McKinney is a fantastic professor. Even though it was an 8AM, I didn't mind going. His lectures were very interesting and the powerpoints have all of the information that you need to pass. Just read over the cases and really understand the information to pass the tests. There are four tests, but he will drop the lowest one. Great class!

He's the first teacher to give me a solid, battle-tested A in college. His lecture is really amazing if you follow his logic throughout the class, taking notes is really important and if you are looking for an A, read the textbook page to page. There are 3 tests, and they get harder each time. Make sure you score the most in the first two.

Mr. McKinney is an amazing professor! He was helpful, caring, and is incredibly knowledgeable. If you want to pass his test, just show up to class and study the notes. You'll do even better if you read the textbook cases too. He is nice and was only flat with people when they were terrible students (texted, interrupted class, etc). Would recommend!

McKinney is a caring and knowledgeable professor. There is no homework, and there is only three tests plus the optional cumulative final. He no longer lets students use notes on the exam, but the tests aren't too difficult if you pay attention in class and study the powerpoints. There are also some extra credit opportunities.

Mr. McKinney is such a nice and caring person. He has tons of cool stories and a law degree from an ivy league school. His lectures are interesting and easy to comprehend. The powerpoint slides are online and he posts study guides for tests. The book isn't needed and there is no homework. Definitely would take again!

McKinney was an okay professor, his lectures are pretty straight forward, but when you take an exam the way he words the questions makes it hard to understand what it's actually asking. Attendance is mandatory and do not be late or he counts it against you like high school!! Plus he is really against texting in class! Average teacher.

He is one of the greatest professors in ETSU ever! Compared to other professors in business apartment, he is extremely nice person! His class is interesting, we not only have discussion, but also have moot court? We can make video to earn extra credits! Though the credit is not many, but it can save me this semester! Best professor ever!

Great teacher! I went in the class knowing nothing about business law, and left very fulfilled. He will help you, but you also must help yourself. Not required, but go to class! His personal experience and creative scenarios make the class very enjoyable and easier.

Great professor! Lectures are interesting and contain many practical, real-world scenarios and in-class critical thinking questions and debates. The tests are pretty easy and come mostly from the powerpoints. You even get 20 minutes of open-book time (like the other guy said, the index helps). Gives extra credit too. Totally recommended!

If you have to take Legal Environment of Business, then you need to take Mr. McKinney! He is funny, helpful, and is really interested in his students. His tests are really not that hard. The majority of the questions are vocabulary and cases that are in the text. He even allows book time during exams *note: use the index... very helpful*
