I really enjoyed this class. It was a PERS2001 class on race, and it was very obvious that she was passionate about the topic. I enjoyed the class and I felt like I actually learned new things in it. The only downside is that she does not have great communication and sometimes does not reply to emails.

She is a great teacher and is so interesting. She really knows her stuff and her history of the 1960's class is not difficult at all. I would definately take another class from her.

The class in general is an interesting topic, The U.S. in the 60s. This class is an easy A as long as you keep up with your journal (a small paragraph on documents from the decade). Chime in once in a while so that she can match your face with your name, it can help boost your grade. Discussions are great! Don't take comments personal.

This class was extremely easy, but I did learn a minimal to average amount. She is a sweet lady; I would take her again. All you have to do is write 20 journal entries with possible rewrites at end of semester, 1 essay, and optional final which nobody takes. Her TA grades everything so if he doesn't show up you don't get anything back.

For an upper level class, this was a piece of cake. She's a very nice lady and don't require much from her students. All you have to do is read, do 5 journals every time she takes them up (20 in all) and give your opinion every once in a while. I would recommend her to anyone. Hopefully I can take her again!

I had to read for the class that I presented in, but not much else. You have to participate in class, that is a huge part of the grade. The final project was easy, she let us do lesson plans instead of the typical 10 to 12 page paper for graduate students. If you have to take graduate level history courses she is highly recommended.

Great "no nonsense" teacher. If you cant take her class because of her essay exams, clearly you do not belong in college and should be flipping burgers instead. Dont miss class, take notes, and go to the SI sessions and you will be fine. Got an A. Reccomend to anyone that will put in the effort.

She gives essay exams but her books are really interesting and so is the class. Take good notes because she tests from the lectures, and she talks really fast...too fast sometimes.

Didn't like her exams. You have to write alot of essays including on the midterms and final. Her class is very boring and she favors students..which is unfair. Don't take her unless you like writing essays and reading 4 novels.
