Comment:
Dr. Miller was excellent. I generally struggle with philosophy but his lectures were incredible; more often than not, I left class truly understanding the material. Just has a way of making the information as understandable and relatable as possible. Very nice man and very helpful. Participation is important in his class.

His tests were hard and he is a tough essay grader. He had his good and nice moments but at times he would get an attitude with our class and twice he dismissed our class for lack of participation. He is big on participation and if you do not participate, it can negatively impact your grade. If you are a quiet person in class, don't take him.

Dr. Miller might just be the smartest person on the whole property. He is also very polite and has probably never offended anyone in his entire life. The coursework was tough, but everything except for Plato was interesting and he was fun too.

One of the best teachers I've had at the Mount, if not THE best. Makes Philosophy clear and interesting and is always willing to meet outside of class to talk about class and topics outside of class. Genuinely cares about all of his students. I highly recommend this teacher!

I hated this class. Anytime I had an opinion about a topic that was different from the opinion he was going for he made me feel like I was completely wrong and stupid.
