Comment:

He knows a lot but b/c of his accent, you cant understand him and he is very hard to comprehend. His tests and any writing questions we get are so broad it makes it hard to answer and do not even think of asking him any thing you are confused about, he just makes you more confused.. I really don't reccomend this guy as a college professor at all!!

he is so sweet. yes he has an accent but just open your ears... he is so intelligent and ask him to repeat himself if you do not understand... he knows his stuff... and if you try and participate you will do well... he is sooo sweet and I am not Korean and can understand him... sit in the front...

Professor Min is truly one of the most intelligent and well-read/written professors in Queens College. Although he does have a language barrier, he is always available to help students and continuously reviews any curriculum that is taught in his class. Do not take his inadequate speaking skills as a weakness; the man is not stupid.

He only focuses on societies of Korean immigrants and does not seem to care to cover aspects of any other societies, although he mentions other ethnic groups once in a while all of his projects are based on articles he wrote about korean immigrants. I do not know how he managed to get hired if he was interviewed

This guy is better off as an author than a professor because he can write well and has published many articles. Im taking him for analysis right now and he is hard to understand and yells when people ask him questions. He goes over tests before he gives them back which makes it impossible to refer to the test when you have questions.

While he does have a thick accent, he is a knowledgeable and fair professor. He gave two term papers and two exams; very lenient grader for the papers - exams were multiple choice. I thought he was a great teacher.

I was warned not to take him, but I am glad that I did. He is a little hard to understand, but he will repeat things if you don't understand. I thought he looked mean and was afraid at first, but he is actually very nice. We only have 2 book reviews and 1 term paper, and so far he seems very fair.

The class is not really hard, but, Min does not annunciate well at all... His lectures can be unclear and very boring. The tests can be a little confusing as well. He DOES know English grammar very well, but doesnt speak as if he does. He WILL mark up your paper for grammar and take points off.

took this class last semester but he does not deserve the negative remarks made by fellow students. He is a very smart and dedicated man who makes up for his korean accent by his incredible and rich english vocabulary. I was deeply moved by his class. you will learn a great deal on society only if your laid back and put your opinions on hold.

I think he's crazy! He's a sneaky old man doesn't like certain races . his tests are so tricky and he DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO SPEAK ENGLISH. How the hell did they hire him, AT FIRST YOU THINK HES A NICE OLD MAN BUT THATS NOT THE TRUTH DON'T JUDGE BY HIS APPEARANCE! HE GAVE ME A C, I SWEAR I DESERVE AT LEAST A B+, HE SHOULD RETIRE!

Easy but boring. Lots of notes. Hes kinda difficult to understand and it was kinda hard to bring myself to go to class, which can cause some trouble. Not bad if you have the ability to sleep with your eyes open, or just block him out completely.

He is a nice man but should not be a teacher. His English is horrible very hard to understand. He is very confused tells you to do one thing then when you come to class he says he didn't say to do that. Nice man but should not be a teacher he should stick to writing books. His books are very interesting to read.
