Easily my favorite professor at Trinity so far. Very funny, a little crazy, but an amazing teacher. She wants you to pass, show her you're trying and she will do her best to help. Wouldn't want to take Chinese with any other teacher.

Not as helpful for technicalities of the language. But you will learn random cultural things, most of which is outdated. Find a love for Mongolians and a strong dislike for the Han people and you'll do well. Mr. Ma is MUCH better teacher.

She teaches you slowly, but you surprise yourself with how much you know! Not good at teaching grammar, but the txt is very good for that. Nice. Stresses chinese culture also. teaches all aspects of chinese--writing, speaking, listening.

unpleasant, random woman. very biased in grading, and arbitrary. no use reasoning with her. does not teach anything. in theory the class is easy, but you could get a C at the end of the semester randomly

She cannot speak English, she recommended a tutor for me that also cannot speak English. She picks random grades for students...she sends her husband in randomly when she doesn't feel like coming in. every single quiz had to be dropped because the entire class failed, because she taught us NOTHING.

STAY AWAY this was possibly the worst class I have ever wasted time on in my life. I have NO FREAKING IDEA how this woman ever graduated from college. so if you like to waste lots of time and be constantly confused with no syllabus and tons of assignments sprung on you than this is the class for you

that this woman qualifies to teach college-level class is a crime. she may be chinese but that doesn't qualify her as a chinese teacher. biggest issue: irresponsible bubblehead. forgetful, unreliable, hopelessly disorganized.
