Pam is a tough grader, attendance is weighted just as heavily as an assignment. She has a unique teaching style, and will make sure you have a solid understanding of a given topic if you demonstrate that you've exhausted all other resources before saying you don't get it. Pam also prefers that her students utilize the shop as much as possible.

Pam is a bully. She has favorite students and will help those students as much as she can. She will blow off the rest of the students in her class. Get ready to learn the material by yourself. She has her student volunteer their time to promote her program. Only reason why she is still there is because she is best friends with the dean.

Same as the fall semester. Disappointed. Spends alot of her time being a ski patrol. When you ask her a question, she will direct you to a student that she previously helped. I didn't pay tuition to have another student teach me. If you are interested in drafting, go to ITT. I still may have to if I want to learn anything.

This prof doesn't teach...she uses the text books and other students to teach. She doesn't want to "strain" her voice. She is useless and makes CAD club membership MANDATORY. If the club doesn't do activities she wants, she pouts. She thinks she's the best but her whole class thinks she's useless as a teacher.

Pam spends no time developing a course curriculum. During the fall she spends more time as a referee for high school volley ball. Some of the assignments can last for three weeks and others will be three days, very inconsistent. There was a very high instance of absenteeism during fall semester 2010. Not impressed with her teaching abilities.

Pam lets you know from the beginning who wears the pants in her calss, and she uses more of the students and book to do the teaching instead of her and teaches only the basics the rest is up to you. Pam does not teach to the cswa examines so if your slow or dont understand you won't pass the test. Id give her 3 thumbs down out of a 5.

Once you get used to the way that Pam runs the class, thing gets easier. If you want advice on her as a teacher, pay attention to the fine details she gives you, complete your tasks on time, and she is a great teacher.

Pam is a very friendly and helpful teacher. Will do great to teach you real world design situations. I graduated a number of years ago from the RCTC CAD program and she is still a knowledgeable resource.

She is very clear and does whatever she can to help you understand the material. My class was Monday-Thursday at 8am, so about 2/3 of the class dropped because they could never get out of bed...and she showed no pity for them. I really liked that, and she is always very friendly. Just do your work and you'll get a good grade.

She has an easygoing approach. She is a good instructor and you get your time's worth in her class. Her tests are pretty hard and it is easy to find out your grade. She does not check if you did your homework but you should do it if you want to do decent on the tests.

Not the most interesting class, but she keeps me awake and attentive. Not as good for teaching as Piens, but her tests are much easier. It's a toss up really.... you'll have a higher grade with Benson, but learn more in Piens.
