I had plans of minoring in Hispanic Studies until I took her for 211 at CSBSJU. She is legit the worse Spanish prof ever! She doesn't teach well, nor understands when you have problems with the context. I passed the first two levels with A's, however, I started her class off with a C, and don't know if I'll make it to the end of the semester. WORSE

I absolutely LOVE Patricia. She is one of the best profs I have had at CSBSJU. She is nice, genuinely cares, and helpful. Classes are interesting and relatable. She is personable and easy to talk to about assignments and class or personal life.

Profesora was one of my favorite profs. We kinda sassed each other throughout the class, she made some interesting examples that made the grammar stick, and she had some interesting game ideas. Kept class interesting and made speaking Spanish fun.

I started her class and I cried for the first week every day. She embarrassed me and it was horrible. BUT she is the funniest woman I have ever met. She talks really fast but its usually about beer which made it so funny. If she likes you she helps you. I probably should have failed her class because I barely talked in the oral but she gave me a B!

She talks fast, and if you haven't taken Spanish in a while, she is difficult to follow. In the beginning, she didn't really help you in class, and instead, told you to get a tutor. I would highly recommend getting a Spanish tutor if you are struggling in her class. But, the tests are easy, and it is passable!

Class is all discussion, so be ready to talk and participate. She makes you feel comfortable and makes class fun. She didn't give a syllabus and seemed to spring large assignments on us at the last minute. There was always a bit of confusion about the homework. Overall, I improved my speaking skills a lot , which is saying something bc I'm quiet.

Patricia was a difficult professor. Class attendance is mandatory and you will lose points if your sick, dead, or lost- she doesn't care. Her tests and quizzes are difficult, but she is a lenient grader on orals. Other than that she is a funny lady and extremely nice. Lastly, her class is built on participation so expect to speak the language.

She is very hard for an intro class. She is availiable for help most of the time and answers e-mail promptly. Don't get on her bad side or it will reflect your grade. Just stay quiet, take good notes, don't ask stupid questions, and know your material and you'll do fine.

I've had patricia for 311 and 349. I liked her in 311, but NOT 349. DO NOT TAKE ANY LITERATURE COURSE FROM HER. every class is the SAME and its very boring. AND we read a 280 page book in 3 class periods. and yes, it was all in spanish.
