I didn't understand how acting works until Patrick came along. He's literally the only acting teacher I had (and I had several) who taught techniques. Most teach it like they are directing you in a bunch of mini-plays (not as exportable). With the core sentence and other direct acting strategies, Patrick gives you methods that work everywhere.

This guy thinks he is a great teacher and he is not! Graduated in 1999 and the only thing I learned in training the speaking voice was how to fake a RI accent. This guy is a lousy teacher and even worse actor I would give him D.

I have my issues with Patrick, but I generally enjoy him as a person. I trust his opinion, and I always go to him for feedback because I know that it will help me and it won't be something that I can't control. And he says what he thinks will get a rise
