This is not an easy class, but you will learn a lot! She makes you put in a lot of work and it did feel overwhelming at times, but hey, this is grad school! I learned a great deal from her class that I was able to apply to other classes and succeeded in. She is nice and will help you if you reach out to her. Fair teacher, interesting class!

Advice: go to her before you submit your assignments because she grades very harsh. She will tell you what youre missing so you can fix it before your grades are effected. Warning: VERY meticulous! Overall not the best but not the worst Ive had. Hope this was helpful.

Her nose is up in the clouds, I've been extremely respectful to her and have asked for assistance in class many times just to be told she's not available when she clearly is. Comes off nice at first, but is extremely conceited and thinks she's better than everyone else. DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT TAKE HER.

Amazing teacher, there is a reason she is the head of the Psych department. People complain about her grading but never even attended class,Just do good on your article review, and lit review and you will get an A, unless your lazy then expect a bad grade.

I didn't care for her teaching methods nor her. I felt I could have learned better with Hamm-Baugh.Entering this course I was excited to learn about life-span but leaving I felt unsatisfied and felt I could have got more out of it then I did...also very hard grader regrading HW assignments and likes to teach pass the time allocated for class.

Prof Avioli is nice, she is very caring, and helps everyone in any way that she can. If you need help, she is always there for you. i loved her class, eventhough she kept us everyday till the last sec. of class... her class is very understanding...The TEST ARE SUPER HARD! The Test are really Hard No Matter how hard you study. Very Very Hard test..

Loved her class. Too much weight on class participation and a very difficult grader in terms of writing, but makes it all worth while. Even if she is critical of writing assignments, her criticisms are VALID and HELPFUL. Very smart, very nice, very interesting. Enjoyed her & her class.
