Comment:

Definitely the best professor I have had. He does not read mindlessly off a power point. He writes on the board and you take notes (great). He wants you to pass. HOWEVER, if you do not want to learn then you will fail. He is amazing but you need to want it. I am doing well and at my other school did not do well in this class. He is a great teacher.

Comment:

I had the true privilege and blessing of taking Amitrano's A&P II course, and, crazy as it sounds, I am sad it is over. A&P is NOT an easy subject, but having a teacher like Dr. Amitrano, who genuinely cares about his students and joyfully presents the material as the fascinating stuff it is, can make all the difference. What a standout professor!

Comment:

The best professor Ive ever had. I may have done well, but I definitely put the work in. What sets him apart is that he takes difficult, complicated information and makes it understandable and manageable. He gives you all the tools to do well in the class but you also have an actual understanding of the material. Really cares about his students.

The best professor I have ever had. He cares deeply for his students. His passion for health permeates all of his lessons. He makes the content fun and interesting, and his "old-fashioned" teaching methods are effective. I can't say enough good things about him. I will never forget Professor Amitrano or this class. I am so grateful!

I took Amiranos A & P 2 class and it was amazing. the lectures were sooo interesting, and he describes everything so great! He really really wants you to learn!! he gives study guides and his tests are so easy! Best teacher ever honestly wish i had him for every class

Professor Amitrano is extremely knowledgable in A&P. He provides amazing and enthusiastic lectures which have some sprinkled in dry humor. There was one research paper, which is an easy A as long as you complete it on time with all of the requirements. Tests were 70 multiple choice questions - if you complete the study guide, you will get an A.

there is no words that can express how greatfull i am with this proffessor i took a&p before with someone else and i got so fustrated i coulnt understand anything but this professor is the bomb he is so clear in his lecture he really care about student learning and passing and he always happy to help and answer question he just amazing

Professor Amitrano is the best professor ever. I which he can teach all the Bio classes at BCC. You will learn a lot from him but you have to study for the tests, anyway, Bio is heavy. If you study the review sheets you will do fine on the test which is a total of 6 and only a few quizzes. Take him if you can!!

He is the best professor! No lab tests only quizzes which are very easy. 6 tests with 70 questions all are multiple choice. Lectures are very interesting. No pressure and stress. Definitely, recommend!!!! Easy A.

He was awesome! I took Totora for AP1 and Amitrano for AP2. I mean, they wrote the book!! He was easy to follow and pretty transparent. I did very well and had no problem learning with him. His class was super popular and hard to get into, so register for him early!

Professor Amitrano is the best professor you can ask for. He teaches a hard course in a way students can understand. He is old school and writes everything on the board which is great because it actually allows you to learn. All the other professors are HORRIBLE, he should give a course on how to teach them how to teach!!!!

The MOST AMAZING teacher I have ever had. I go to a university in another state and no one compares to him. He is so friendly, and easy to understand. I was a non-medical major, and because of him, I am pursing a field in nutrition and hopefully make my way to PA school. I am definitely taking him for anatomy 2, if you get the chance, TAKE HIM.

Hands down one of the best professors I've ever gotten the privilege to experience. Such a great and caring human being with the students grades and futures as the main interest. Goes above and beyond to make sure the lessons/knowledge are taught correctly. As long as you study, you will do great! Be attentive and respect his time and knowledge!

Dr. Amitrano is undoubtedly the best professor in the biology department. He doesn't give out homework, just exams and quizzes (diagram fill ins). He also goes out of his way and gives out a study guide/review so if you do your part and study, you'll get an A. I took A&P 1 with him and ended up taking A&P 2 with him again, he's honestly amazing.

Amazing Professor!! I wish I could take him for every science course, genuinely cares about his students, makes the class as interesting as possible. I have learned so much from taking this professor, he hands out review sheets for tests and sticks to them. With how he teaches, even if you tried not to learn it would be nearly impossible.

THIS MAN IS THE BEST THING THAT HAS HAPPENED TO BERGEN. He not only teaches you about the course, but also about life itself. He cares about his students and gets to know everyone on a first name basis. Gives you everything you need to know for exams. JUST STUDY HARD. Incredible 10/10.

The best educator I have ever had. He's knowledgeable in what he teaches, and he's super nice. His methods of teaching are old fashioned (which is what I like) but straight to the point and you actually learn. He gives thorough study guides that are accurate. I'm depressed that I'm done with A&P because I would take it 100 more times with him!
