Prof Biolsi is the best. Took him for alternative investments and it was a great course. Lectures are boring, but go to get test questions. Exams not bad and project was fun. Highly recommend

Great professor - his approach reflects the intersection between finance & real-world applications. Lectures are crucial, as they add context to the readings - otherwise, the exams will be hard for you. You will also have a group term paper and presentation as well. I'd take him again - he's so passionate about finance and makes it interesting.

he is very knowledgeable, but he doesn't teach everything, so you will need to read chapters prior and really understand the concepts or you will have a hard time in the exams. he does skew a lot so you at least get a B. He is being doing this for a while, so i guess he has gotten bored of it, and when there are presentations he might fall asleep

GReat professor. Knows what he teaches. There was midterm and final - both take home and challenging. I heard that sometimes he gives midterm at school what might be hard. Overall - very interesting class.

Brilliant and helpful. He is VP of quantitative research on the NY mercantile exchange. You get a dose of natural logarithms, some partial derivatives. Ever heard of Cobb Douglas or kinked demand curves? Homework is a bit tricky. Biolosi’s exams are take home, but if want an A you’ll have to work hard on pricing elasticities and current events.

Gives take home tests which are challenging-but they are take home. His tests don't always match the end of chapter practice questions. He is interesting and laid back. Very approachable and knows his stuff.

Dr Biolsi is very very smart. I wished he would have challenged the class a bit more. Sometimes he had a hard time controlling the class. It seemed that annoying people in the class would sometimes dictate the direction of the class
