Hard to understand his voice at times, but if you listen, you will learn. He explains things in great depth, but does not require a deep level of understanding on the tests. Email him, and he will answer. Very available for office hours.

Cyber-eth. Easy class, subject, and assignments. However, he is an unpredictable grader, very unfair. He knows nothing about philosophy or ethics, which makes him highly unqualified to teach the class. No room to disagree with his narrow understanding of ethics. Extremely boring lectures. Avoid

This guy is AWFUL. He grades based on some system which he refuses to disclose. He is bad at public speaking and considers his opinion more valid than anyone else's because he has a PHD. WAY too tied to the academic paradigm and if you try to respectfully engage him in the flaws in his definitions/lectures, he just talks himself in circles.

Everything you DON'T want in a professor. Uncharismatic, uninteresting, and unenthusiastic. This man epitomizes bad teaching. It's all from the textbook and it's all presented on powerpoints. If you want to enjoy your classes, avoid this man.

I've never said this about a teacher before, but he is kind of awful. Pretty boring lecturer. Most of the course is student presentations. Grade is comprised of presentation, 2 big papers, and a final. He seems to grade very difficultly on his papers - expects a lot. The final though was easier than expected.

moniot is painfully boring and has ridiculously high standards for students who have no interest in this course and are taking it just as a requirement. rates students' work based on a complex grading rubric and no one ever receives a high note on any one part. students should be able to rate the professor's lectures based on his own rubric.

Moniot is great. I've taken three classes with him, and I learned a lot. If you don't understand what he teaches, just ask, he's always available for office hours. And he has a PhD in Physics, which makes him extra smart!

I found this class to be much better than expected.While dr.moniot can seem robotic at times he can be a nice guy.I would recomend this class to sastify the values requirement
