Comment:

After taking two online courses with Dr. McBee as the instructor, I've opted not to take her in my final semester of graduate work. She is very behind in grading (I completed an online course 5 days ago and over half of my work is yet to be graded). Her feedback is lengthy, which is good and bad. She seems to have unreal expectations.

Comment:

Dr. McBee was a great professor. I took her online CKA class while taking 18 total credits, and never had to worry about this class (it was online). Lectures were short and to the point, no tests, and only a few relatively short assignments. I would definitely take her again. (Remember: I only had her online, though!)

It's not about the amount of work that she gives that makes her an awful teacher! It's that she is unclear & inconsistent in her feedback and grading. When you ask her questions she becomes extremely annoyed & at times she will refuse to answer it. She is a mean woman who does not care about your success. It's as if she wants to see you fail.

McBee is the worst professor I've ever had! She waits to explain the assignments until the day they are do (sometimes the week after). She is rude, unwilling to answer questions, and extremely confusing. I can't say that I've learned much from this horrible woman. Sitting through her class made me want to drop out of college. AVOID AVOID AVOID

I don't really understand why people hate her so much? If you don't want to have a lot of work... don't become a teacher. She's a little intimidating but I've learned more from her than I've learned from most profs at Rowan. She's really helpful and knows her Sh*t. It's a lot of work, as a class, but you'll learn a lot. She means well.

McBee is an awful teacher! She gives an unnecessary amount of work and thinks that her class is more important than anything else you could ever do. This woman is full of herself and insanely corny. Listening to her teach made me want to pull my guts out. AVOID!

Worst teacher I have ever had. Changes assignments everyday, gives tons of work right at the end of the semester. She's suppose to teach you how to teach!? She miserable and rude, doesn't care about her students at all!!!! She made me want to quit my teaching career every time I was in her class. Don't take her, it'll be the worst experience!

If you want to cry at the end of every class, be told you're not qualified to be a teacher and should look into other professions, I highly recommend this professor. If you couldn't tell that was sarcasm and McBee is terrible! Extremely ****, and a very negative woman. She has been asked to leave, but refused. Horrible professor& experience.

she is the worse teacher I ever had. She is extremely confusing and expects a lot. She also waits until the last minute to tell you about assignments and is always changing her mind about what is expected. She is impossible to please and wastes so much class time talking about non-sense. Avoid this woman like the plague!!!!!!!!!!!!

She was very tough and unreasonable. Thinks she's clear, but didn't give clear instructions. Then she tells the students they're incompetent. Several students were upset enough to cry. This is not how the education dept should train future teachers. Wise up!

I LOVE DR MCBee==she is always so helpful and has always made time to answer my question...Even after graduting she is still willing to help me with all she can--if u want a professor you can count on DR. MCBee is it!!!

Really a nice person, but she is a little unclear when it comes to assignments. For someone who likes to know what to expect out of assignments, her class can be frustrating. Yet if you go to class and do your work to the best of your ability, then you should do well.
