Sean Gilmore is a G!!! One of the best professors at BW. He's a super personable guy that was funny to boot (expect magic tricks). Normally I don't like group work, but I loved circling up and having big discussions. It was such an interesting and thought-provoking class I couldn't imagine taking it with anyone else.

Comment:

Great guy, caring, and makes class fun. Have taken Gilmore a couple of times and all his classss are the same. He lets students pretty much teach the class and lead the discussions but you learn so much. He's really a great person! Work is easy, just do what he wants and he gives you an A+. Very understanding and just wants everyone to succeed.

Professor Sean Gilmore is the most amazing professor! All of his classes are very memorable and exciting. I have learned so much through his classes. I loved writing journals to reflect and apply to life experience. He gives great feedback on those journals. Also he really cares about his students. His magic tricks are awesome! Best classes ever!!

Sean engages the class through group discussions which allowed me to learn more. He is a professor who wants the best for his students. Would recommend taking his class for sure!

Sean Gilmore is a great Professor! His class is discussion based, but it helped me have a greater understanding of the material, and I got to use my own experiences and apply them to class. Overall, this was a great course!

Prof. Gilmore is a great guy! His work is easy and he gives no exams except a final and his study guide is literally the final exam. Does a magic trick for an ice breaker almost every class. This class is literally just group discussion. Weekly journals that he doesn't even read but gives you 10 points for and signs it. Awesome guy, must take him!

Sean is one of the most laid back professors you will find. He makes learning the material come easy by assigning journals and encouraging a great deal of class discussion. If you show up, participate, and do your work, it is hard not to get an A.

I had him for interpersonal communications. He is such a sweet guy and he is pretty funny too. The class is always fun and interesting, and he doesn't care if you have your phone out. We do write a few papers but he is an easy grader. The class is an easy A for sure.

If you need to take interpersonal, take it with Sean. It was relaxed, the tests came with study guides, and the papers were easy. We even went on a field trip! This class is engaging and laid-back, highly recommended!

Professor Gilmore is honestly the coolest professor there is. He is so laid back and is like having a class with a student as your professor. He dresses in everyday clothes, nothing fancy. He will help you with absolutely anything and has plenty of patients with his students. He has many connections and will help you get an internship anywhere.

Sean is the best professor out there. I have never met any professor so dedicated to seeing their students succeed. If you are looking to pursue a career in PR this is the individual you want to know. He is such a nice guy! He is very helpful and very clear. He gives easily relatable examples. His assignments are REALLY easy but I do feel like I have learned something. His tests are super easy - multiple choice. He is a very fair grader. He is so funny too! He knows magic tricks and used to do stand up =) I would definitely take him again!
