I took Sonia Wurst this past semester. I would say it was pretty easy. She gives options to buy the book but just buy the code because with that code you can access the etext. There were 4 tests, one midterm, the final and two regular test. The homework and quiz arent do until the test day. She is a very great teacher and I recommend you take her.

Comment:

I took her this Spring of 2019 for Bus14B and I can say that she really cares about her student success. The class material itself is difficult, but she curves the Midterm and finals. She's generous in grading and has office hours. I struggled a lot with Algebra, so I attended her office hours every night. I'd recommend her for everyone. TAKE HER!

Wow! Amazing professor AND class. I learned so much. There is a lot of homework but it is doable. Professor was always accessible and responded promptly to any messages I sent. I would take her for any class the offers. She is an amazing professor who knows her stuff and loves teaching. Highly recommend!

Comment:

Professor Wurst is an amazing professor, but her tests are hard af (except for the final and midterm). She cares about her students passing and she is always there to help. I recommend to study, before the tests because they are hard even though they are open book. Overall, she is a great teacher and I would definitely recommend to take her class.

Definitely one of the best professors I've taken at PCC. She is very nice and caring to students. She will respond to you if you e-mail her. She also helps you out if you have questions. Tests are quite difficult, but she lets you use all resources like computer, textbook, notes.I really wish she also taught BUS14B, because I would take her again.

Professor Wurst is a fantastic professor. She teaches students clearly and always answered question thoroughly. Really caring and responds to e-mail quickly. Tests aren't hard as long as you study. You still need to study even though it's open book! TAKE HER!!

I took this class during the Spring and she was really great. This professor is awesome. Really easy class. Quizzes and exams are online which is open book, open notes and you can retake the quizzes. I really recommend this professor.

I will miss Dr. Wurst class. Everyday, she would bring a smile to us & likes to have conversations with the students. I would suggest taking this class if you want to learn how to use Microsoft office. I learned a skill that it was important for my future. Open notes, allows retakes twice, and office hours are available. I got the jokes, Dr. Wurst.

Dr. Wurst is a great professor. She truly understands the topic of business ad computers and does everything she can to help students understand the materials. This class is not hard just as long as you do the MyITLab assignments, which the amount is reasonable. Quizzes are open book and notes. At the end, there is a individual project.

Dr. Wurst is a very empathetic professor. She understands the topic really well and does everything she can to help students understand the course material. BUS 14A is one of the type of things either you get it or you don't and Dr. Wurst understands that, thats why all her tests are open book open notes. It is easy as long as you listen.

Dr. Wurst is an outstanding instructor. I took the BUS 14A Hybrid, you meet with her once a week for two hours and the rest is online. She is very supportive and encourages students to go to office hours. She assigns a reasonable amount of homework, MyMathLab, and worksheets. Tests are open book, however, are still difficult if you don't study!

She is a great teacher. Business calculus is definitely a hard subject but she simplifies it and makes it easy for students to understand. Very understanding professor and a lenient grader. Wants every student to succeed and learn, all you have to do is try! Exams are open notes, but still difficult so don't be fooled.

She is very helpful and gives clear instructions. I ended up with an A. Just show up, do the homework and you'll do just fine. Tests were open book and you have 2 attempts at them.
