Alright so I started out loving history from my high school classes and I am sad to say taking this class made me somewhat lose a lot of that interest. I was going to be a minor in History but changed my mind. He seems to be a good professor but his voice gets to you and I'm sorrymakes you sleepy! Sorry Dr. O!

I've taken several of Dr. Oatis's history classes. He is a very good professor and more than willing to help his students. He grades pretty harshly, but gives insightful feedback on papers and exams. If you are interested in history and don't mind quite a bit of reading, I would recommend him; and, I certainly enjoyed his classes.

He is very informative about history, but does not always present the info in an interesting way. He lectures alot, and this can get very long and boring. He's a very nice guy, though.
