Comment:

Professor Frankson was a very good professor. She really cares about your grade and wants you to pass. She can be a tough grader, however, but if you really try and get advice from her you can easily pass. Not much extra credit though.

Honestly, its an English 1101 class, you show up, show her youre trying to do well and put in the effort for all your essays, youll do well. She lets you correct an essay under 85 if you do get that low of a grade.

I found the assignments to be confusing and there was a lot of busywork. But she was a total pushover-so she was a easy grader and let me turn in assignments after the due date.

This was my first college class, so I was very scared for it because English isn't my strongest subject. This was the easiest class to pass. We had a total of 4 papers and the longest one was only like four pages. She gives us a lot of help to start our papers and doesn't just let us do it on our own. Highly recommend

Prof. Frankson is a good teacher! She is very nice, and she wants you to pass! The material is easy to learn, and the papers are straightforward. All the projects are easy A's if you participate. I would definitely recommend taking her!

Frankson is a funny teacher with a big heart. She wants you to pass, always! She wants to get to know you. She wants to inspire you and not just make you write. If you put in the effort and stick to the schedule she provides, you can shine in her class! She wants to hear your thoughts. Attend class- not a blow off. She brought doughnuts for us!

She was so sweet! She's super easy to get along with, and she's fun to have random conversations with. She's also really helpful when it comes to helping you develop a paper. She's definitely my favorite so far :)

Ms. Frankson was very clear and informative. She provides a variety of skills and resources in order to get the essay paper right the first time. This really helped, especially if you aren't very good at writing research papers. Lets you choose your own topic. Used the textbook a couple of times. Made English an interesting topic to talk about!

This teacher takes herself way too seriously. After telling us we would have only one big paper, she ended up having us write about four papers that were all a big percent of the grade. I got a 33 on my ACT for writing & didn't get above a C on any writing assignment in this course. AVOID THIS TEACHER. It's all busy work & feels like a waste of $.

Anyways, my advice to anyone thinking of taking her is to think twice. no intelligent Student-driven discussions without her relatively unintelligent 2cents, redundant and repetative lectures each day, and arbitrary grading.

alright I have no idea if these reviews or her or what because she is not as great as she seems regret taking her so much. she's mildly passionate about teaching but she gets up and bs's and repeats herself for 50 mins instead of giving helpful information and engaging in student body discussions when she does engage, she barely lets kids talk..

I'm good at writing papers but I hate doing it. She broke down the research paper so much it was like we were writing little assignments all along and then by the end we just taped it all together. I loved having her. She is super nice and takes time to help you. I was practically the teachers pet and all I did was answer her questions. Participate

Professor Frankson is a great person. She makes writing a research paper the easiest thing you've ever done. She's extremely helpful and kind. Homework is assigned daily, but nothing too difficult. You basically spend the entire semester writing one paper. She gives a lot of helpful strategies that will make writing easier in the future.

Comment:

Pretty good teacher with in-class discussions which help you figure out ideas on what to write about. Is a pretty tough grader. Gives helpful feedback. Will let you revise any papers (beside A papers) at the end of the semester to improve your grade. Attendance was 20% of class grade. Total of 5 papers and gives plenty of time to write each paper.

Ms. Frankson is pretty awesome. She is able to give you everything step by step and willing to assist you. She is also very knowledgeable of the topics. As long as you show up to class, pay attention, participate, and do the peer reviews - you'll be good to go. Not easy to get an A but if you work hard, you will get it.
