One of the hardest classes I have taken in college. Dr. Swope can be somewhat eratic w/ her lectures especially when she is rushed. However, she is very intelligent and caring. I would take another class w/ this professor.

Class is rushed as there is to much material to go over in the alotted time. Even with this challenge, she does a great job. She is willing to give you help if you ask, and makes sure you understand it. I would take her class again.

She was the worst teacher I have had in my entire life. She is all over the place with teaching the material. She really needs to retire so PSU can have someone decent teach Biochemistry

Not an "easy A", but if you put in the time, you will learn alot, and actually retain it. Dr. Swope is very fair and willing to help. As difficult as the material is, she could make the class much harder. The tests are actually pretty easy if you have done all the homework properly. Take this class if you want to learn chemistry well.

Needs to retire. Material was tough; very tough for this level of education. Her grading is fair, but she is about as clear as mud in class and on the homeworks. She has a genuine interest in the subject, but i think she forgets we havent been in the chem field for 30 years like her.
