Mr. Tubb is a great teacher, I however had to drop the class for life getting in the way with kids and other classes, but wanted to take him in summer 1 but he has other obligations so he won't be teaching summer but he is great. Wants you to learn and offers help, you just have to ask him for it.

If you struggle to understand math, then you should DEFINITELY take Mr. Tubb. Very easy to understand. Wants you to learn. Willing to make appointments to help you. Would rather you go to him for help than a tutor. Had him for algebra also.

Mr. Tub took over my class because my teacher went into labor at the first week. He made it so easy to learn, I've never gotten straight A's in math until now! He's loud, funny, and is very willing to help you outside of class as well as inside. I hate math but I always looked forward to coming to class because he made it so easy. Fully recommend.

Mr. Tub is a great teacher! HE IS VERY UNDERSTANDING. he gives you a study guide right before his test and his test are based off it . when he goes to explain how to do something he always writes it on the board. great teacher TAKE HIM FOR ALL MATH!!

Mr. Tubb is great professor. I took his class over the first half of summer with some hesitation going in. He sets the class at ease with a good sense of humor. A little edgy on his jokes, but very straightforward. Attend class, take notes--gives study guide before tests. He makes himself available outside the class too. Would Highly Recommend!

Mr. Tubb is a good teacher. He explains things fairly well. You simply need to go to class and do the homework he assigns. Attendance isn't mandatory, but notes are on you if you don't. If you can't put in a little effort, then that's on you. He's a funny, and sometimes arrogant man, but by no means a bad teacher.

Mr. Tubb is a wonderful instructor! He is a little rough around the edges, but he really does want his students to understand. His tests are based on your notes, so if you want an A, be in lecture and take STEP-BY-STEP notes and you can't go wrong. I opened my book the first day and never again. If you're willing to learn, he's willing to help!

Very helpful teacher. I absolutely HATE math and was dreading taking College Algebra. He makes it understandable and pretty easy. You really don't need the book except for practice/homework. If you hated math like I did, I would recommend him.

Awesome teacher for Business Calc. Didn't waste time on unnecessary topics, answered any and all questions, gave reviews for tests that were the in the same order but with different values as the tests, extremely thorough. He can tend to get on his soap box sometimes but hes worth listening to when it comes to teaching. Highly recommend taking him.

I did not find him helpful and he always came in with a frown on his face. Never said "hello" to the class, just had an annoyed look on his face and began teaching. He was always complaining about people, which made me not want to approach him to ask for help. I would NOT recommend him if math is not your strong point.

College Algebra made easy and understandable with Mr. Tubb. He is a no nonsense, get to class, cover the material, get out kind of guy. He gives practice tests that helps students get comfortable with material being covered. AWESOME teacher. He is always willing to meet to help you if you don't understand. TAKE HIM!!
