Vilma Walter was a great professor. She made Spanish fairly easy, and the amount of homework was very limited. The exams can be a challenge, but orals are easy. Quizzes happen about once every 2-3 weeks but focus on vocab for the most part. Best spanish professor I've had, and I recommend taking her.

Walters... struggles with the whole idea of teaching. She is one of the nicest people I have ever met, but requires you to teach yourself on most concepts. Again, super nice, relatively easy (took it pass-fail), but you have to teach yourself. Orals are easy, but the tests are a little tricky (as they all are). Overall, easy pass.

I love her! she is such a sweetie. The class super easy. It was nice to finish my spanish requirement in a class that is not so hardcore. You may be behind the other spanish classes in terms of knowledge though which may not be good if you are continuing on in spanish. Overall, she is very helpful and nice! take her!

Vilma actually realizes that most people that are in her class are there because they have to be. she makes class fun and is flexible with everything. delightful person. basically tells you exactly what is on the tests before you take them. Guzman (dept. chair) is the devil..remember that.
