Professor Ferlini is my least favorite teacher of all time. He's very boring, gives the most work of anyone I've seen, and sometimes doesn't understand his own presentations. He has even argued at length with a student. DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASSES trust me, there are other teachers who are much better

Vince is the best professor I have had. His expectations are very high but fair. You have to work for everything. He is willing to spend hours with you if that's what it takes to help you understand. If you care about truly understanding the material he's the prof for you. If you're lazy, RUN!

Cool guy, Incredibly intelligent, Great teacher. Ferlini gives you word documents to follow along with all his power-point based lectures, making concepts very clear. DO YOUR HOMEWORK; It's not graded but essential for good test performance. He wants you to succeed, but makes you work for it. you'll get out what you put in

Vince's classes are hard, but he sets expectations from the beginning so you know what you have to do. If you complete everything you will leave with a strong understanding of the topic. He is also extremely dedicated to his students, and if you show interest and actually care then he will make sure you suceed

What kind of a teacher is proud of himself for outsmarting the students he's supposed to be teaching? This guy has 0 respect for his students. 0. Don't even expect him to grade tests within 2 weeks of you taking them. You will spend ALL weekend doing homework for his class and he won't spend 2 hours of his time to get your test grade back to you.

As a professor he is very demanding. He expects students to work extremely hard in his classes. He grades with the same expectations and if you ever receive a perfect score you've earned it. At the end of the course he does seem to do some curving.

Vince is one of the best Professors ever! This was my first class with him and I had heard stories of how hard his class can be, but he is so helpful that as long as you show effort, you will be rewarded. Don't ever be afraid to ask for help, he is always around to help and if you failed, it's your own fault. I can't wait to have another class.

He is a GREAT prof. He is clear in what he expects. HE holds all his students to high expectations. He will help you without giving away the answer if you ever have a problem. While some jokes might be a little off he is very witty and will try to relate, never forget 50 shades of mathematical induction

Vince is an amazing professor. You might hate your life while you are in his class (or in my case, classes) but you will realize he has high expectations for a good reason. If you are willing to put in the effort, you will walk away with a deep knowledge of the content. He is not an "easy" professor.. so expect to work.

Such a hard class. Needed it for my major and not only does he teach way ahead of the quizzes you have each week but he feels as though his way of teaching is the only way considering he has no textbook. Not a good class to take if you like to pass classes.

Vince is an amazing teacher. He goes extremely fast and simply reads off of his slides during class but he will take the time to help you after class. He slows things down and helps you better understand the material. Definitely do the homework because everything in the packets is exactly what he is looking for. He doesn't make you buy a book!

Sorry, lazybones,he expects you to actually do the work. That out of the way, VF is probably the second most jaded and difficult to please of the KSC math Profs (Jardine in first) So is that equivocal? So, it's good teacher, good text, and a little "ehhhh" about the enthusiasm level about teaching "teaching majors" Oh, once again, DO THE WORK.

People think he's boring but it's just that he's excited about math and we're not. You can tell he really likes teaching math though. Not a bad guy at all. Attendance not mandatory but you'll fall behind if you skip more than a couple times. Lots of quizzes but he lets you make them up if you miss one. Pay attention and do it how he teaches it

Boring class, harsh grader, if it's not done the way he wants to see it done, than it's wrong, even if your answer is CORRECT!! I basically dreaded his class and if it's possible avoid him at your every turn.
