Exams are impossible to ace. He's kind of crazy in the sense that he expects you to have the knowledge of a psychiatrist. Even taught statistics in the first 2 weeks of class. Unresponsive to emails. Worst experience I have ever had at UCSD. Damaged my GPA greatly. Avoid his class by all means. Big mistake.

He is pretty cool. He tells you EXACTLY what will be on the tests. You might need to get used to him but he really appreciates his students. I learned a lot about the legal system. You might not like it if you are not keen on philosophy (I am).

Didnt like how he always got distracted from the lecture by telling so many jokes and stories. Otherwise the tests were easy enough if u study all ur notes. He tells u what the short answers are going to be so just memorize it. Just two midterms each 25% of ur grade and a final worth 50% so if ur on the border before the final, study hard

Fun,I just had a problem with how he kept going off topic and talking about his personal life and jokes. He did that for a while and then realized he was running out of time and then wenr through slides fast. Doesn't post it so u have to write. I think he's definitely one of my favorite professors in UCSD! Psychology can be hard sometimes due to the massive amount of memorization, but he's willing to hold review sessions right before exams to clarify exactly what he'll be testing us on. As a result, I do better on exams and know the materials better as well! He's awesomeee!!!!!!!!!

Had him for Abnormal Psych in the summer, TAKE HIM!! Class went by so fast, he's an amazing teacher. He tells you what's on the tests, and it will be on there, so listen up! He's really energetic, tells great stories and keeps you entertained.

Had him for Abnormal Psych during the summer. He's pretty funny and super dorky. He'll keep your attention. Just be sure to take good notes because a majority, if not all, of the questions on his exams are from lecture. Definitely go to the review sessions because he'll practically give you the answers, you just gotta memorize it.

He only teaches during the summer, but he is quite hilarious. Though I have to say that sometimes his lectures were disorganized and his excessive joking may have lead to him rushing through the material. I'm not the best multiple choice taker, so tests were not as easy as expected, but at least they challenge you to think. Interesting class!

I think he's hilarious, but he has a unique sense of humor for sure. You'll know right off if it will drive you nuts or not. You have to go to all the classes as he has short answers that you have to know word for word. He did reviews for exams that were extremely helpful to get an A. He gets to know his students and I found him quite engaging.

Stretch is such a damn funny guy...I laughed alot in his class. He knows his stuff. You MUST go to lecture as his tests reflects what he wants you to put on exams for answers. GO TO REVIEWS and he will give you the answers to fill in and diagrams. READ the chapters and take good notes. He is fast with overhead though so you gotta write fast.
