Viviane is the BEST teacher I have ever had in my life. She is extremely difficult, yes, but I worked hard and learned more in her class than any other class I have ever taken. Take her if you want to have an amazing experience. Plus, she's one of the coolest people I've ever met!

Tests were based solely on course readings rather than lectures. Readings were sometimes hundreds of pages long, even after reader 3hours a week I wouldn’t get through it all. I dreaded this class like no other class in Concordia since. Teacher is not very helpful. A lot of work, if you want to have any kind of life outside of school abstain.

Hard hard hard teacher. Only caters to one style of learning. I am an A student, and pulled a D in her class - trying my hardest. Intimidating and very unclear on how to improve your marks in her class.

Don't be intimidated by Viviane, but that's like saying ignore gravity. I admire Viviane on many fronts, but she's often inaccessible and is not direct in her criticism of your work. Often, she'll say something extremely vague like,"It's a good paper, just tighten it up." Then you get a C. If you're a nerd, she'll love you. If not, you'll struggle.

mostly considers that people in her class dont understand anything, or potentially will have trouble understanding. so the philosophy becomes "one-dimentional" and spoon fed to you; this makes it easier for a dominant "i love to hear myself talk" student to dominate. I wish she was less cool on the exteroir..would make office time with her better.

She is really a hard grader.But students will definately learn skills and obtain knowledge from her class.Besides students must attend class and work.I loved her WSDB 292 Research Method class, it was fun and interesting.Despite the fact that she is a hard grader, she is in fact a wonderful person.

Goddess!! This woman is amazing! I cannot believe how much I have learned from her classes. She is a genius, and will turn you into one too. She's is tough as all hell, but so kind and caring. I am an addict, and want to take every class with her. Also, read her books - she will blow your mind.

No teacher will ever compare to how clear and specific Viviane is. Say what you will, but you WILL learn in her class. She's amazing. Very hard. You must go to class. You must work. She is so structured it's amazing. She teaches the toughest subject matter in the Institute. Without her that class would be impossible. You will work. You will learn.
