Dr. Wagstaff is honestly a real gem. Not only does she give great lectures but she is also really fun. I took her for American Literature and honestly the homework is really easy if you do the reading. The reading is sometimes heavy and time consuming but that's college. She's honestly a very nice professor who gives very good feedback. 10/10

If you take her english 101B class dont buy the books unless you need it physically. All the stories and books the she has you read can be found online especially from the theban plays, literature and poetry anthologies. Lectures are really boring sometimes she gets off topic leading her to take role for 30 minutes or longer.

I loved her! She was more then helpful to me and offers a student aid to help. She wants you to pass her class and as long as you get the work done you'll do great! She had 6 essays one I bombed which gave me a B but I'd take her again.

Comment:

Took Wagstaff's Bible class. It was a good class but there was so much homework. I took the class for fun and the amount of work she gave was overwhelming. She got off topic quite frequently. At times she was confusing because she got off topic so much. Shes passionate about what she teaches. Never got through role because she got off topic often.

She assigned 3 books for us to get and we only use one frequently, and the books weren't cheap. She gives out handouts 95% of the time. If you need help she points you in the pass leaders direction, she helps you once in a while. She makes you do a lot of group projects and get into groups but they don't go as planned because she loses track.

She's an awesome teacher. I am an English major and she is a fairly easy grader. She does talk a lot and the lectures are very long, but a lot of group activities are included and lots of discussion. Notecard of notes/outline allowed during in-class essay tests. She loves the subject, thats for sure!

Such a great prof. One of my favorites, her class is very easy if you do the work. There are 4 essays and 1 research paper & she is very willing to help you during her office hours. If you do all the work which isn't that much you should get a good grade, luckily haven't had any tests yet. Def recommend her to anyone! :]

I'm a Wagstaff fan.. She is an Excellent English professor, and you will learn more than you had expected. You'll read and write a lot because it's an English Class, but you won't believe how much you'll enjoy it. I recommend her to everyone.

Ann Marie is an awesome English professor. You never realize how great she is until you take someone else. She's very into what shes talking about which in turn makes you listen. She has a great teaching style and is always willing to help. Just do the work and you'll do fine. Love ya Wagstaff!!

Loved the class, you get to read all kinds of intersting things. Had a lot to do with me deciding to become an English major. You'll work hard, but now that I've moved on to a university, I see that it was worth it.
