I loved him! He is hilarious, and his classes are memorable and dynamic. If you have a good time in the class and show an interest he will definitely take notice and it makes the class even more enjoyable.

Well, I definitely wouldn't say he's the man, really. When he gives tests back, he can make you feel pretty bad about yourself by saying that if "you didn't get this question right you were not in class" or didn't study, didn't read the book, ect. Maybe he does give good help, but I didn't feel comfortable enough to ask. Hard for sure overall too.

Searleman is a great teacher and a great guy. He loves what he does and makes it easier to learn. He's funny, doesn't mind making sex jokes, and is very honest. If you do the work he asks you to, youshould do fine and if not he is more than willing to help. He has encouraged me to become a psych major.

He's got very difficult tests, no quizzes, but he teaches psychology so well that it's hard to not understand what the questions ask. If you attend class, read the textbook and study for exams, not only will you do well in the class, you'll enjoy psychology more than you did when you first decided to take intro psyc! He's tops, professor-wise!!

One of the best teachers I have ever had in my educational career. His tests are pretty hard, I think. But it's worth it. I'm doing the best I can, but still doing poorly, but that has not stopped me from learning and appreciating him as a teacher and his class.

Searly is extremely knowledgeable about many different fields of psychology. His mind is sharp and he is witty during lectures. He is as helpful as you are determined to seek help. Go to office hours, they can save your life. If you miss class, you're screwed, or as Searly would say, a stupid goose. Show effort and he will show you a good mark

Made a boring class pretty fun. Interesting labs(except watching numbers being put on the board),usually tough tests(if the mean is below 80, which usually happens, he will curve it). Awesome guy, very fair. Maybe the best Research Methods professor.
