Attendance is important but I didn't mind showing up. I learned a ton from this class. Skovira is a great teacher and very dedicated to the students. Allowed you to revise and resubmit papers for better grades and let's you know specifically what needs fixed. One of my favorite teachers in my college career so far.

This woman is wonderful. She is so helpful and interesting. She really makes an effort to get all of her students involved and wants to see them succeed. Just go to class, turn things in on time and she will help you to get a good grade. I loved this class, great prof!

Takes attendance really seriously. Don't even think about missing when a paper is due. If you do, she expects it there anyways. Have someone drop it off. We had a lot of short papers and a few longer ones. The longer ones you get to write a few times for a higher grade, and she looks at every draft and writes alot--too much--on your papers.

Very good instructor. She helped as much as you needed or asked. Not much homework, great paper suggestions. I recommend her as a teacher, she is firm but very nice. She even let me bring my children to class so I would not have to miss. Wonderful lady and a great class.

I found this class to be much more interesting than I thought it would be. Ms. Skovira is not a very hard grader, but that doesn't mean she just blows an essay off. She grades them as she feels necessary. Her class taught me a lot in writing, and I am truly thankful that I was placed in her class. Favorite class by far. Oh- and she's extreamly nice
