He is a bad professor. He's boring and bables on. He digresses and is very strict about reading the books. Reading is a must. He gives 2 papers. They are confusing as hell. He doesn't clearly explain what's needed in the paper. He puts you to sleep. I wouldn't recommend if you need to take core1.1. Bad professor!!!!

I think he was alright, his papers are sketchy, you have to read and listen to what he says to pass the test, goes off on random things and he is sarcastic. i didnt get my final grade yet, but nothin he talked about was on it the midterm was easier just read ans ask questions, essays are graded hard had 3. i'd prob take him again he wasnt all bad

Hes a very challenging professor, but the class is ok. He doesnt really give A's. Alot of people complain, but the class wasnt that hard. Well that is if you read the book and used the study guide. other then that good luck. you'll need it.

I don't know why people rate him so poorly. He is a very nice man and he is extremely bright. If you listen in class and make an effort to show an interest, you will have no problem getting an A. He is one of my favorite people at BC. If you talk to him he will help you with the papers. I highly recommend him! A darling!!

He's a tough grader. He doesn't let students state their opinions about what they know about the subject, rather he wants to impress everyone by appearing as if he knows everything & will correct you anytime. Anyways he does make you work hard, read alot, which is good. And he expresses a good amount of interest in teaching.

He's alright. He can be very vague and easily distracted. He tends to go off on the tangent, mostly trivia of all kinds and random facts. You can pass by simply attending and listening, without reading, though it helps to be a good writer. Just write what he told you, thats it. Independent thinking is not encouraged. 2 papers, mid term and final.

it is a great understatement to say that he is the most terrible teacher ever. he is far far worse than that. you aren't allowed to have an opinion. and don't bother asking questions because he never answers them clearly anyway. his papers make no sense. he picks on people in class. hes terrible to look at. something bad must have made him this way

By far the WORST educator I have had in my entire life He's a jerk, he's rude, and he's very interested in makin students feel bad. Goes WAY off topic, and sometimes even puts his random ranting into the test. unfair paper grader. not fond of opinionated students. if u have no other choice for core 1...wait a semester

Wow, not a good professor at all. I have a 3.98 GPA and I got a C- on his first paper. He is vague about the assignments. He knows what he wants but won't tell you. He is snide and wants to "stick it to you" in stead of teaching you. Avoid him like the plague that struck Athens.
