Comment:
Amanda is funny and I enjoyed her lectures. However her feedback on assignments is very poor. She is excessively picky and writes mean and sarcastic comments on her paper. For example: "Sigh, I can see you are really not getting this." I would not take another class with her.

Comment:
Amanda's feedback on work is harsh and aggressive. She is condescending and will go out of her way to make you feel incompetent. She uses unprofessional statements to describe papers and written responses. She is picky about grammar, not due to being incorrect, she would just like it a certain way-her way. I will never take a class from her again.

Amanda is a passionate, knowledgable instructor. She is very clear about expectations, and sets them high. She is not an easy grader but offers plenty of feedback and help. My experience with get and ethics was a positive one. She is one of the most straight forward instructors I have had and carries herself with integrity.

Psyc 612 Clinical Treatment of Children. Amanda is a very engaging professor. She is fun, funny and creates a classroom environment that encourages honest learning (all questions are met with sincerity). She is a tough but fair grader and gives a lot of opportunities to show your competency.

Comment:
This is one of the worst teachers I've ever had in my nine years of college. She has a lot of personal problems that she brings to work with her and is incapable of objectively evaluating students' assignments. She should not be teaching at university level education. She thinks ethics is a 'black-and-white' world when actually it is all grey.

Comment:
very good, substantive teacher - learned alot in her class. lots of lecture, and did not enjoy the last part of class that entailed Amanda acting out clients...too weird, felt it was hokey and could save time just doing a case study.
