Comment:

Very knowledgeable. He genuinely cares, so if you dont understand something, dont be afraid to ask! He explains in different ways to help you understand. Lectures do get boring, but if you show up and take notes in class, you will pass. Take home exams with an in class portion. Group project is led by the TA.

Comment:

I will say that most individuals have a negative connotation with this professor. He is insanely knowledgeable in the transportation industry and gives you a lot of information. The class itself, can be very dry and the 3 hour Wednesdays are long. Overall the class is easy to pass, you learn some stuff as well. Not the best, but he isinvolvedinalot

Comment:

Outside of class he is not helpful. Homework and group projects are vague. When he does show up to class, he goes on long, rambling, side-tracked discussions that take up the entire hour so he has to rush through all the notes in the last 10 minutes of class. I was constantly lost, and he turned me off to transportation engineering entirely.

Comment:

He started out the semester strong, giving good examples and actually teaching the material. However, he quickly stopped showing up regularly, rushed through lectures and homework in class, but still expected full knowledge of the material. Had three big projects, and didn't get them back until the last week. Have fun, it's a long semester.

Homework assignments weren't even doable. He gave problems that didn't work out. He also cancelled class all the time. Took forever to get homeworks and tests back. Lectures are dry and boring.
