Dr. Moran's was the hardest ENG class I've taken but I would take it again. He graded hard but gave the best feedback. It made me a better writer more than any other class I've taken. His lectures are fascinating. Show up and care, and you'll fall in love with it too. His passion is contagious. If you hate working, this isn't for you.

Horrible teacher! I will never take him again. I LOVE to read and write and this man made me never want to do either again. Teaching should inspire and Dr. Moran did not. Horrible!

Excellent teacher, passionate, helpful. Could use help with organizing the class, but is a solid professor. He always has a useful anecdote to connect the works read, and is always ready to help. He really helped me and understood when I had trouble. Easy on the eyes/easy to imagine getting married to haha.

Great teaching style. UD should have done more to hang on to him, it is a shame that he's leaving. He clearly loves what he does, and that passion feeds the energy level of the classes. The discussions he leads are great, as are his dramatic readings. He's not an easy grader, but he is a fair one.

A very difficult teacher, espcially when it comes to papers, but if you put an effort forth towards the class, he'll respond and help you get the 'A'. Loved the class...and looking forward to Rome simply because of his presence on the campus there!

Very knowledgeable, will say when he doesnt know something- not afraid to show his limits. Lectures rarely boring, even tho theyre after lunch for an hour and 30 min; gets class involvement, but still gives excellent lecures. well structured class. easily approachable.

Easy to understand, but the continuous twitching was somewhat distracting. Discussion was a somewhat of annoying aspect of the class as there were annoying people who were never without an opinion. Would have liked to hear his opinions more often
