Great prof. Overall, you write 7 essays, and if you are a good writer, you will have no trouble at all making A's. She only gives quizzes if she thinks the class isn't reading the material assigned, so if you end up with quizzes, make sure to read the assignment more than once, pay attention to little details, answers not found on any cliffnotes.

Ms. Sharp is awesome! Her tests and responses are challenging, but her grading is fair and clear. She is very helpful if you have a problem, and she's very flexible about how to approach certain assignments. She is also very understanding. She's a great English teacher because she enjoys her work and enjoys literature. A very fun and funny teacher.

Prof. Sharp is awesome...she's funny and interesting, and always willing to hear other opinions. I found her class very insightful, fun, and challening....Her tests may not have been easy, but they were extremely fair, as is the manner in which she grades them. I highly recommend this professor to anyone.

Wonderful teacher! Her grading on the essays takes getting used to, but once you've got it, it's a piece of cake. Would take her again if I could. One of the best professors at UAH!

I got lucky and my advisor assigned me to Mrs. Sharp for EH102. After having her for that class, I decided to take her for everything I could. She's definitely not an easy teacher, but she's clear about what she expects and will help you in any way she can. She tries to make class interesting and is definitely approachable. Take her if you can!

She picks some of the most interesting topics that affect our times, primarily focusing on the delimmas of the industrial age. And the effects of capitalism on the human spirit. Angela's selection of literature was most excellent.
