Best teacher ever. Class discussions are fun and she gives really good notes. I personally never read the book only notes and I got a B. I had to miss class one time and I emailed her to let her know, she emailed me back with the notes she went over in class. I loved her! Very prompt on answering emails also.

she is way chill, her tests are completely note/book based and are easy to get an A/B on. you have to write a paper on yourself...and everyone pretty much gets an A or B based on effort. she also gives 15points extra credit for doing some easy assignments. No real homework :)

This was an easy class. There are $ exams and one easy paper. You don't have to take the final if you are happy with your grade at that point. Do the extra credit beacuse it really helps. either read the book or attend the class.

So far so good. She gives really well planned lectures, great study guides, and makes class interesting. I haven't taken any sociology classes prior to this one, and I'm considering taking one after now. She shows small clips in class, gives great examples and explanations. funny too.

Highly recommended! She is a wonderful person! I had no idea what SOC was all about until I took her class- very interesting and fun at the same time! Go to class, study for the exams, and you will do fine! She is so down to earth and easy going! I would take her again in a heartbeat!

Prof Haney is so nice. she is hilarious too and very helpful. offers a ton of extra points and tests are directly from the study guides. its basic knowledge so its hard to get below a B in her class.

Loved Prof. Haney, she's awesome. It's not her fault that the class is a 3-hour evening section...after working 8 hours it's nearly impossible to get through. She lectures well, tests are pretty easy, don't need to show up to pass if you don't want to. You will learn a lot from her, she has a wealth of knowledge to share.

Mrs. Haney is a very intelligent, wise, fun professor. You shouldn't miss class bc she gives SOC a good name, you'd be surprised on how much intresting facts you learned. I highly recommend reading the text, watching the videos, and taking notes. TONS of E.C, 4 Exams, 1 paper, and A Final (Maybe if you need to...most likely not) This is MUST TAKE!

The best professor at P-mar! Very knowledgeable, and funny. Takes great pride in her job and making sure her students succeed. If you need this class Ann is the absolute best. If I were a Soc Major, I would take classes with her only!

Haney is probably my favorite teacher at the moment, she is clear, funny, and can relate to her students it seems like. If she teaches a higher level of Soc, I will definatly further my studies in Soc. :D
