1 paper ,3 Tests, 100 questions each. CEC requires you to sit it on a trial and an extra credit paper is available. I do not recommend the 3 hour lecture, only because the subject seemed so dry to me. At the same time this guy is joker and teller of tall tales that are related to subject material. I like his stories but of course other will not.

Comment:

One of my favorite professors here at Ramapo by far. He loves to talk about his personal experiences, which is awesome because he has so much wisdom. The content is simple as long as you study from the textbook. He is a very fair grader. Don't hesitate to take Professor La Manna at any cost!

Comment:

He's really funny and a good guy, but his lectures are horrible and you don't learn anything. I would avoid him, I hate to say anything bad about LaManna because I like him. He's just not a very good teacher. Probably not a bad lawyer though..

This class was very easy due to the fact that you could bring a laptop and not pay attention at all. His lectures are mostly stories that have nothing to do with the material which makes passing his tests difficult. You definitely need to study from the book to pass. Otherwise, it was an easy class and he isn't a bad professor overall.

Good guy, pretty much just gives you story time about the good old days and his past cases. Tries to go through chapters really fast (says 2 a day) but ends up stuck on the same thing for days. If you talk or bring a laptop to class he'll make a comment along the lines of "anything good on the television?" Overall good guy, just read the book

Great Guy, Great Professor. He tries to be funny with corny jokes, but because its him it is funny because he just a great guy. He loves what he does and is very passionate about it. He is a pretty easy grader and will help a lot if you need it. Read the book before tests and you will do well. I recommend him as a professor.

Phenomenal professor. He made business law interesting and demonstrated practical and realistic applications of the law by offering numerous examples. The three tests he gives are not jokes, you need to study hard for them. He's funny and captivating in his teaching style, which made the course enjoyable.

His constant off-topic stories do not attribute to the lesson at all. Out of 50 questions on exam, I knew of 2 of the answers thanks to the lecture. Study out of the text or you will do bad on the exams. One easy 5-page research paper at the beginning of the semester, but he graded it pretty touch (Got a C+ on it when I felt it was a B+/A- paper)

He does give you a lot of chances to bring up your grade with the optional paper and the cases for extra credit. Professor La Manna is a practicing attorney and a really great guy. He is upbeat and funny, and teaches the material using his own fascinating experiences and knowledge. There are two short papers due early, and the rest are straightforward and manageable (if you study) exams. He lets you out early every time.
