She has a tendency to mess up on pronouns/names and give the excuse "everyone makes mistakes" or "I knew so and so before he was a woman" (you would expect better from a //gender// professor) just stuff I noticed as a cis student. also very boring, hope you get a good group who can discuss the material in more depth than she can. Easy otherwise

She somehow managed to turn a class on very interesting material into the most mundane experience possible. She used powerpoint slides every class and babbled about irrelevant material that had nothing to do with her slides. She is very condescending and becomes angry when her opinion is questioned. Avoid at al costs!

Her slides have nothing on them. She says it's for retention purposes, but I don't know where she got that from. Not a very fair grader when it comes to the assignments she gives, and she begs for class participation, but does nothing to generate it. Boring class, easy to get an A though if you never zone out and come to every class.

Easy A. Teacher is nice but she will keep you to the very last second of class, even if it means repeating useless material for a 19th time. ALOT of reading but if you skim it and keep up with the small assignments, you'll be fine.

Her topics in Sociology class was easy but she made it complicated by not making her exams clear. The whole class complained because students were not satisfied with their grades. I ended up with a C and it dropped my GPA significantly. I do not recommended her. She is also a very boring lecturer.

Had her for Sociology of Sexuality. This class was so interesting! Easy A as long as you keep up with the readings, pay attention in class, and use the study guides she posts online. Midterm, 5 page essay, and a final. Loved this class!

not so bad..kind mandatory with group discussion q's that you hand in for attendance..exams aren't too bad but I could only seem to get B's on them..readings only from internet..pretty interesting and shes nice and has first hand experience in the subject..

I would recommend to take any class taught by her. I took 2 classes with her and got A's. She is easy, helpful, and such a nice person. She is not a hard grader and will help you if you don't understand something! Go to her office hours so she knows who you are. Take her seminar, NOT HARD AT ALL!

She goes on and on talking about one damn powerpoint slide for almost an half hour. Her class would end early because her notes aren't that long except she tries to stretch it out by talking so ****ing slow. She is BORING. Not a hard class. doesn't take attendence. Her lecture notes are online, so its doable I rate it a 2 out of overall 5 points

The class should be called soc of homosexuality because that's what it focused on. It's not a bad class to take for the Douglass requirement. It's pretty opinionated and one-sided but it's interesting and not too hard. She is helpful if you talk to her
