Amazing teacher. Probably the best Math teacher at the University of Hartford. He says he can't help you with the project, but gives certain clues and hints as to how to get the final equation/answer. I, particularly, was confused, but he was super nice and super patient with me. Grades well. Put some effort, and you will get an A+

Comment:

Prof. Pollina is one of the best math professors I have ever had. He is incredibly caring and understanding of the students. He is so good at what he does, but remains very approachable and respectful to the students. He grades very fairly and makes us learn. Do not miss out on taking a class with him!

Had him for several math classes, honestly my favorite professor on any level of study. I took a MWF 830 class just to have him as my professor. Revered among students, highly recommend. Textbook and attendance recommended, not mandatory, but the way he lectures you don't want to miss class.

Took Pollina for Multivariable Calc. and I can honestly say that he is the best teacher I've ever had, period. Very easy to follow, does everything in maple which is really nice and posts all notes online. Tests are actually really quite easy if you do the webwork and pay attention in class. Great teacher.

had him for calculus 1, 2, & 3. He is excellent! Very clear about whats expected and when it's due. Clear lectures and lecture notes are posted online. Tests are easy if you do homework and ask questions about topics that you don't understand. great in office hours. If you work hard and show up he'll love ya. Best math professor here!
