Prof. Pace is a great professor. Although, he gives a lot of work, tests, & quizzes, he does this to enhance your reading/writing skills. He is truly genuine in helping you better your writing. I would definitely take his class again.

Professor Pace cares about lit, and he will appreciate students who make an effort to pay attention & learn from his material. I wouldn't recommend taking his class if you want an easy A. You WILL do well if you participate in the DB, make a visible effort to critically evaluate the readings, and improve your writing with his suggestions.

He's definitely a tough grader. not what I expected at all. I love to read and write but he is just a bit extra all the time. making us read many poems, there were about 4-5 weeks of poetry but this clas is not a poetry class. then going on to shakespeare.. you have a million things due throughout the week so you can't take the whole week to work.

Took an online class with him and he was very slow in responding to my emails. For an online class, this is bad. He was also slow about grading. I got 2 of my papers back on the day my final paper was due, with no comments or feedback on them. I feel like the class was a complete waste of time. Didn't help to improve my writing at all.

Prof Pace is one of the best professors I've ever had.I took his ENG 121 and then ENG 360. He is extremely helpful and cares for his students. The material is challenging, but if you don't like being challenged you shouldn't be in college. After his class, (if you do your work). You will most definitely be a much better writer.

Great online experience. He was very helpful. He reviewed student work and provided meaningful input to foster a great learning experience. The subject-Literature, poetry was not the easiest, however, Professor Pace provided support to the group through blackboard discussions and often shared works of other students as examples of polished works.

Compared to most BMCC classes, his is a lot more work. He clearly cares deeply about what he is doing and is very involved when teaching the online course (most aren't). If you want to cruise, take someone else. If you want to learn take his course.

I'm carrying a 4.0 and HATE this class! The amount of reading and coursework in his online course is absurd. This week: 6 stories/7 lengthy course docs written about the material/2 quizzes/2 discussion boards at 4-6 paragraphs each plus responses plus 20 pages of textbook reading. And this is a slow week because we don't have an essay due.

He is very nice and understanding... but he does give a TON OF WORK. I took his online class thinking I can handle 4 classes. & his was the HARDEST. He is very dedicated and intelligent. but HIS CLASS IS NO JOKE AND A LOT A LOT OF WORK.

Awesome, awesome, awesome! He is intelligent, engaging and availible to anyone who is interested in learning and growing as a writer and critical thinker. I would highly recommend him but only if your idea of an education is to be challenged and grow. Otherwise, look elsewhere because Dr Pace is the real deal!!!! Thanks Professor!

Very nice professor, but the class is really hard. It does require a lot or writing, reading and analyzing.Prof. Pace gives a lot of helpful handouts and treats students with respect. he knows everybody by name and helps a lot. But I have to repeat myself: the class is HARD!

I am taking his class now and am NOT happy at all! I love English and writing and he is not a bad professor, very intelligent and smart, but his teaching methods are just not for me. I can't sit in class for 3 hours listening to him and not having any class discussion whatsoever. Too many assignments and awfully boring.

Just a cursory reading confirms that some of you are not ready for college.It is no wonder that you consider Pace a difficult teacher. He teaches a college level course and expects college level work. He challenges you think beyond the story,reads your work and returns helpful comments.This is not grade school.Repeat grade 11 or do the work.
