Super easy class. Professor Dolan is very intelligent, however, the class had almost no structure. Met 1 day a week and was cancelled at least 5 times. Attended class about 4 times, wrote 2 papers, took 1 final, and got an A. There is almost no work to be done outside class with the exception of preparing your final essay.

Mr. Dolan is a terrible teacher. He cancelled class at least 5 times. Never answered emials. Did not hand back grades. I wouldn't advise anyone to take this class. He has no time for his students. URI should fire him. This class was my biggest regret in college.

Professor Dolan is a practice lawyer and is able to bring personal experience to the classroom. He teaches the class similar to how a law school class is with majority of your grade weighted on the final. He gets you thinking about the law. Keeping up with the reading is important to understand what is going on in class.

Would have to agree with the other rating, difficult material and high expectations but also very informative and thorough in class, as well as being very clear on guidelines and criteria. extremely knowledgeable and very helpful

Great teacher. Full time practicing lawyer in RI, teaching the class as an alum. Learned a whole lot from this guy, and he really knows his stuff. Made a normally grueling class fun, and more informative.
