Prof. Landis should not be a professor. She is a very nice woman and a great grandmother. I am sure I would like meeting her on the street. But she is a terrible teacher. Tells to many personal stories, very unclear,rambles a lot, and very innapropiate. Many people drop her class because of how tough she is.

Unbelievable. I normally don't play into arbitrary and pointless ideas but believe me, if you are male (especially a male athlete) BE AWARE. Extremely unfair in grading, took the papers she game me D's on to other professors and they even objected. Retched.

By far the worst professor I've ever had. Impossible to follow, tells you one thing and grades completely differently, and will not give you an A if you're a guy. Completely messed up my GPA the one horrible semester I had her. Do yourself a favor and take classes with Sue Spaulding instead. She's the best.

NICE LADY who is quite patient,but unclear in her instructions,be it verbal/printed. But if you ask her qns right after she instructed something,she is kind enough to repeat at till we get her. She'll get snobbish sometimes when we told her what she corrected was wrong, she wouldn't handle the truth and told us we need to follow her way of grading.

She makes no sense and she honestly has no idea what she is doing, she would and say people were doing things in their paper that they weren't. She is truly horrible at what she does, yet she thinks she is always right. Do not take her class.

For your own good, DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS! She's nice, but a horrible prof...doesn't make any sense at all, and her grading system is based on how much she likes you. So if you do get stuck with her, act chummy and find something in common with her...quick! You will be much more likely to pass!

She will look over your rough draft and fix two things then give you an F after you fix those things. She will also tell you to write a sentence one way on your draft then mark it wrong on your final draft. My essay grades decreased from A's to C-'s after moving to the back row. I feel I have degressed in my writing ability after having her! F!!!!

I really dislike this woman...with a passion. I have had to take this same class twice because of her. I don't think her grading is fair at all...I try and try and always come out with C-'s. She is horrible. If you can avoid her, please PLEASE do so...I'm warning you.
