So much effort put into making sure that the lectures cater to all students and that projects are interesting, caring, extremely lively and enthusiastic, great hand outs and material. By far one of the best professors I've learned from at Smith, and I've heard that from many others!

Comment:

Mikic is extremely charismatic and cares about her students. She always starts class by asking us how we're doing. She is very busy, and it shows, but is more than willing to schedule time with you if you can't make office hours. Fair warning though, she goes over exams right after you hand it in, nothing harsh, but just something to keep in mind!

Great, energetic professor. This class was my favorite thus far. She definitely expects solid effort from every student but she is very helpful and understanding if you need it. She tells funny stories during class a lot.

She expects the best from you. If you're not going to take her class seriously, don't take it. She can be hyper in the mornings, but she can be really funny sometimes. She will not hesitate to tease you in the middle of class.
