Day is one of the best professors here at CCSU. I'll definitely take him again. 12 papers, 1 due each week doesn't have to be long only a page or 2, he clarifies how many he's looking for on the assignments. Final is incredibly easy

Comment:

I would recommend this professor. He is pretty good but a bit disorganized. Its a really interesting course. Theres an essay due every week. But its only 2 pages, and it literally takes everyone only 45 mins to do and almost everyone in that class gets an 89 or 90 on all of the papers. There are no tests in the class.

I've taken Professor Day for three classes. He's not a professor to take if you skip classes/avoid assignments and still expect an A. But, his classes are amazing if you're willing to put in the effort. Prof. Day is funny, cares about his students, and is accessible outside of class if you need help in his class. One of the best professors at CCSU.

This was a hybrid course. There are 12 projects - one paper (2-3 pages) a week. Takes a long time to grade, feedback on the paper is one sentence. I personally did not enjoy his class. I read the chapters each week which by the way doesn't correspond to the papers due at all. Attendance is mandatory and you can't fail the final he preps you.

Comment:

One of my favorite professors this semester. It's a hybrid course so attendance is mandatory. Projects on blackboard every week, but all are simple and easy to do. Professor Day is funny, super clear, and is very helpful. He preps you for the final so there is no way you could fail unless you don't do the projects or skip class.

He's a really nice guy and the books we are assigned to read are great and interesting. My 8am with him isn't even dreadful. We learn about cool stuff, hes funny, and tests are easy. He's a hard essay grader though, but clear

You have to read about 15 pages per chapter and at the end of each chapter take a test. Because it's online reading you can't go back and check your answer so take pictures of the reading as you go! He wasn't willing to accommodate for any technical issues and grades very harshly! I had surgery and missed three quizzes; it tanked my grade.

Easy class, two papers and a midterm. final is either an essay or an in class exam up to you. very entertaining lectures and videos and he's very fun. one of the lighter classes of my courseload. I barely read the material and still got a b+ TAKE HIM

Day is a very interesting professor. Funny and keeps everyone involved. He is challenging, but only because you're actually learning, not skating by. He expects your best work, but he is also very clear and always available to make sure you get an A. You will do well if you put in the effort. Take him!

He is VERY hard! His online class is ridiculous. He loves to assign papers + the work NEVER ends. I had him for a 100 + 400 level class + there was no diff between the two. Doesnt understand a 100 level class should be easier than a 400. He's "cool" but his expectations are unrealistic. Makes things more diff than they have to be.
