The whole class is just a lecture, so take notes and attend class! Tests based off of notes and the chapter in the book. Definitely make friends in the class so you can study. This class is not an easy A and you REALLY have to pay attention to pass. He's not that helpful, though is witty and does his best with boring material.

This class is hard. His tests are tricky. Every small detail is important. Questions are very lengthy and have many parts. Read everything carefully in book and write down everything he says. He explains everything very well. He also gives tutoring. Grades on a curve. It's not impossible but sometimes it feels like it is. He's nice I like him

Isn't an easy class. I got away with a B thanks to the curves on all the tests and final. Lectures are boring, but you need to take good notes. The tests and quizzes are mostly based off in class notes. Sit near the front, he isn't very vocal. Nice guy, but class isn't easy.

This guy is nice and smart. But he is OLD. He doesn't use power point and rarely writes something on the board, so you have to take the notes as he talks, and he talks pretty fast. The quizzes are based on notes, not on the book and they are extremely hard. Tests are treaky. Don't take his class if you have a choice.

This professor is very nice but this is NOT an easy class. I had to go to some Saturday classes just to pass this class. Most of test and quizs come from his notes which are not easy to follow . If you are just taking this as a requirement I highly recommend someone else.

10% textbook, 90% lectures. talks very low. most of lectures are unrelated to textbook. textbook costs over $130 and it's almost useless to prepare for exams. no study guide. missing the class will screw you up for the exams. this prof needs to retire! even the best attendees have a hard time getting an A. extra credit will help boost grade.

Prof Young is extremely professional and well learned. His voice projection may be poor but his lectures are gold, take gd notes, you will learn a lot from him. This is not a typical easy class, u need to study and make an effort. If you're a geog major, i recommend him even more. His tests are not easy but he curves them, so put in yr best effort.

Mr. Young is very helpful, nice, and funny at times. However, very hard to understand him sometimes because his voice projection is poor. I recommend sitting up front or setting a voice recorder on his table. Really good notes and reading from text will help you greatly! Take advantages of a study group as well!

Professor Young is a great teacher. Be prepared to take notes the entire TIME!! i suggest that you bring a tape recorder. you take quizzes each week that are pretty easy. 3 exams and i final. He also gives lots of oppertunnities for extra credit. dont slack off in this class. be prepared to work for your A

Nice guy but I needed an 'I' due to multiple deaths in my family. I gave him a letter and had a long conversation with him, crying hysterically, to explain my situation. He forgot about our talk and the letter and gave me a 'D' for missing the final, which I am disputing. Maybe his memory isn't what it used to be.
