AWFUL! She gave an insane amount of homework. If you want to boost your gpa this is not the class for you. You watch hours upon hours of useless film in addition to her giving you last minute assignments. Do yourself a favor and stay FAR FAR away from this class.

This professor is by far the most horrible professor I have ever come across. She gives an insane amount of course load and expects you to do wonders with it. It's insanely tough and the exams online are only accessible to work on for a minimal amount of time to write quality essays. HORRIBLE. DO yourself a huge favor and stay away from her course.

Nope. Don't do it. Don't even think about taking Henderson. Unless, you have no other time but to dedicate your entire existence to her class. It will drain your soul and crush your GPA - along with your hopes, dreams, and any social life you'd think of having. Sleep? Who has time when you have to read, write, watch videos, and repeat ad nauseam

She gives a lot of reading every single class. Her teaching methods are questionable and very disorganized. Her lectures are extremely boring.

I took Professor Henderson for Introduction to cultural anthropology and I regretted it so bad. There are so many other great teachers who teach anthropology so take them instead. She gives so much work , its ridiculous. Her papers and discussions are annoying and her test are super long and specific. If you work hard, you'll pass though.

I took her for Culture and Personality and did not know what to expect. To be quite honest I slacked off the first half of the semester but I did end up reaching out. She wants very detailed answers and the most important thing for this class is consistency. If you do the blogs and the discussions the exams ends up being not that bad. Curves a bit

Units are extensive. Take this class if you are taking 12 credits total or less - preferably a summer class on its own.

Horrible, this class is tooooo much work. You would think its grad school with the amount of work you have to do. She gives way too much work all at the same time. I wish these college professors would understand that people have jobs and an outside life out of college. Do not take this course or any of her courses if you have other classes.

Never take her class. I am a senior and needed an online course, and boy was this a mistake. The amount of work she makes you do is absolutely ridiculous. Not only that, the way she words her questions is SSSOOO confusing. Absolutely hate the course and advise EVERYONE to steer clear.

This is probably the hardest class I have ever taken. At times I have screamed at how much work I had to do! Though, I have to say that Dr. Henderson is quite an amazing instructor. She makes everything understandable and was always more than willing to help needed! Just ask! Take this class if you are serious about getting a real education :)

If you are taking a full course load 12+ credits then don't add this class. Take alone or with another easy class. Too much work involved!

A wonderful professor. i took her online culture and personality and although the class itself was a lot of reading, she provides so many helpful study guides and materials for her students. She is passionate about the subject, and always answers emails promptly and will clarify any questions or concerns. def recommend her!

I took her online and it wasn't that bad. She's a very fair grader. Her tests are hard and not based on the discussion and you must stay on top of the readings to do well on the tests. Not an easy A but very obtainable.

At first I was concerned about my grade in this class, it seemed like the tests were very different from what we discussed in class but she gives review sheets that are essential to knowing what to expect on tests. Lectures seem far from test and book material at times but she works in the field and so has alot of info to offer, very interesting!

She is horrible. There is more work in an elective class than the writing intensives in my major! Plus, she does NOT grade fairly. The assignments has NOTHING to do with marriage & family. It's statistics from census of a counties (which is chosen for you) in a given state. I bet she wrote that nice review herself!!
