Comment:

A wonderful teacher, but it will take it's toll if you fail to do the work. She cares about her students and having them pass, but you have to work for that to happen. You show her that you're trying, and the class will be great. You snooze, well.. you lose. Overall, amazing teacher.

She was really cool to have. Some people found her tough, but it was because they didnt want to show up or do their work. Just show up and turn in what she assigns. Youll be fine.

She was very rude. If you didnt understand something and asked questions she makes fun of you and if you turn something in that isnt right she calls you out in front of the whole class. Assignments are not clearly explained and are rather confusing.

Amazing teacher. She is very sweet and class is very easy if you just do the work. People were lazy in my class but she assigns really easy work if you just do it. Can be unclear but if you asks, shes more than happy yo help.

Overall a good teacher. Sometimes assignments are unclear, but not often. The book is a must have, because you write about every passage your read. Also, you have to read, because you talk about it in class. If she finds out the class isn't reading, be ready for a test! The tests are pretty easy. The papers aren't too bad either.

I had her for several classes and loved her more each time. She looks for a lot out of her students, but she is one of the most helpful teachers I've ever had. She will do anything to help you. She can be very picky, but class time is always interesting with great debates. I recommend her for anything English related. You will get a lot out of it.

Not clear on any assignment. Class time was productive and we had some good debates and I feel as if I gained something, but the prof was a tad rude. The worst part was the writing labs that are required.

the worst teacher i have ever had so far in college. i hate her with a passion, she has no respect for students what so ever & takes forever to get grades back. she sometimes gives good feedback, but she mainly spouts what's on her mind & how much she hates freshmen & blabs on about politics. if you get her, change your schedule IMMEDIATELY!

It explains why her Comp. 2 clsses are the last to fill u. She is unoganized and doesnot answer e-mails. Class time is spent asking her o clarify assignments she e-mails us because she is not clear. I would not recommend this class.

Mrs.Hulse is a great teacher. Thiugh she may come off as a rude person at times she is just trying to help. When paper assignments are assigned she pushes you to try to finish early so you will be able to take it to the writing lab and be able to correct it.

AP STUDENTS BEWARE!!! Definte prejuice for those who think that AP prepared them. Humilated everyone that skipped ENC 1101 due to high AP scores. Loud, opinated and blatanly rude. Answers questions in a manner that makes the asker feel like an idot, no matter what the question is. Not an enjoyable class.

If you do what Mrs. Hulse tells you and you on your good side, you WILL get an A. I did terrible on her weekly assignments that are all about the same thing. Did ok on both essays and did everything required in the class still and got an A. Not a bad lady if you get to know her, kinda mean but she's legit if your up for a challenge.
