She gives a lot of space to open expression while lecturing (which can sometimes be heavy but not at all boring). She wants students to speak their opinions. Her class requires a lot of group work. Her TAs are the ones that correct with her. Final project quite heavy needs a lot of thought and writing. All in all, I had a very enjoyable experience.

I love her one of the best teachers i have ever had. she teaches so well class time pass so fast without you knowing because many activities. you can't sleep in this class is so much fun and you get to more about yourself. take her you will not regret.

Work hard and show up to class - you will be fine. Very interesting subject matter. Be prepared - this is NOT a lecture where you can get away with showing up and not doing much. It's a class that demands engagement, and is sometimes kind of tiring. But you will learn useful life/people-skills that will serve you no matter what your major!

AMAZING CLASS...AMAZING TEACHER! It's a very different style of learning especially the writing aspect. You have to learn how to dig deep and share your feelings. However, once you get the hang of it, it's easy. Pure group work for the entire semester. No final exam; lots of little assignments. One of the most applicable classes you will ever take!

By far, one of the best and interesting class! Caroline Samne is an excellent instructor- she explains really well, is patient and encouraging. Class time flies by because it's interesting and interactive focusing on communication and interpersonal relationships. Highly recommended!
